This is one of the most informative and enjoyable shooting opportunities sponsored by
your Gun Club.  You will thoroughly enjoy participating in this fun-filled learning
experience. Details are as follows:

The purpose of the class is to improve marksmanship through the application of
practical aiming techniques.  The theory is that students will be able to consistently
place successive rounds within a 3 inch radius from 7 yards without aiming.  Actual
training will be conducted using a .22 caliber pistol.  The ideal pistol for training
is a medium frame .22 caliber double action revolver such as a Smith & Wesson
K-Frame. Once learned, the technique is applicable to any caliber or type of handgun.

For planning purposes, if the student so desires, the last round of live fire for the day
may be accomplished using a larger caliber pistol, specifically for the purpose of
demonstrating the applicability of the technique to any pistol.

The class typically runs 4 to 5 hours.  Starting times vary.

Each student will be required to supply his or her own ammo.  The quantity required
will be 400 - 500 rounds and any type of common .22 cal ammo (i.e. standard or
high velocity, excluding hollow point, etc.) will be acceptable.  The instructor will
have ammo available for sale at the range.

Checks should to be made payable to the "Gun Club."

Previous participants in this event have been extremely enthusiastic in their
praise for class, from both the perspective of enjoyment and the learning of
useful new techniques.
